ONE-WRAP® by VELCRO® Brand – Tested cable management for professional IT infrastructures

Bundle cables gently and expand infrastructure flexibly

ONE-WRAP® fasteners from VELCRO® Brand are designed for tool-free cable bundling and organisation. Unlike traditional disposable plastic cable ties, they can be opened, repositioned and reused at any time. This makes it easier to carry out changes, extensions and modifications to existing cabling. At the same time, they prevent cables from being tightened too much, which is particularly important for sensitive fibre-optic cables.

Tested properties for professional IT environments

In data centres, fire behaviour, smoke emission and the release of corrosive gases play an important role alongside mechanical reliability. According to the manufacturer, VELCRO®’s ONE-WRAP® Standard and Flame Retardant products meet the requirements of EN 50306-1 regarding zero halogen. In addition, selected solutions have been tested in accordance with EN 60754-1 and EN 60754-2. VELCRO® also certifies that ONE-WRAP® Standard complies with ICEA-T-33-655 regarding optical smoke density; flame-retardant options have been tested to UL 94, Class V2. Further information can be found on the VELCRO® manufacturer’s website.
