Der kompakte 10GBASE-T-zu-SFP-Medienkonverter von TRENDnet, Modell TEG-10GSFP, konvertiert eine 10GBASE-T-Ethernet-Verbindung (Kupfer 10Gbps) in eine 10G BASE-SX/LX (Glasfaser) SFP-Medienverbindung und umgekehrt. Der 10GBASE-T-RJ-45-Port des 10G-SFP+-Transceivers unterstützt eine Vollduplex-10G-Verbindung mit Leitungsgeschwindigkeit. Der SFP-Steckplatz unterstützt sowohl Multimode- (SX) als auch Singlemode- (LX) SFP-Module.
