nVent SCHROFF 19" power distribution unit with emergency stop switch UPDATE

The nVent SCHROFF Rack Safety Plus power distribution unit in 19’ format and with 3 & 4 height units has been specially developed for the central power connection of electrical and electronic devices in IT environments. It combines reliable power supply with an integrated emergency stop function for maximum safety in rack installations.

The unit supports various mains connections, including: 400 V (3-phase) and 230 V (1-phase) mains inputs, each with integrated mains fuses and 120 V AC (phase to neutral) or 208 / 240 V AC (phase to phase or phase to neutral).

The Rack Safety Plus has numerous AC outputs with different plug types, e.g. Schuko, C13, C19 or NEMA 5-15R, which can be conveniently controlled via ON/OFF switches. Permanent AC service outputs are also available.

All outputs are individually protected by circuit breakers to ensure maximum operational safety.

The integrated emergency stop function complies with the requirements of EN 60947-5-1 and EN 60204-1. It is vandal-proof and enables all switched outputs to be de-energised immediately in an emergency.

New power ratings: 32 A and 63 A for three-phase RSP

The Rack Safety Plus is now also available in three-phase versions with 32 A and 63 A – for even more power in demanding applications. These models expand the existing 16 A variants and offer system designers maximum flexibility when planning high-performance systems.

Expanded output options for three-phase models (16 A and 32 A)

More choice on the output panel: the new variants offer a wide range of configurations such as 12x C13, 6x C13, 3x C19 (also lockable), 3x Schuko (type F) or 1x IEC 60309 (16 A / 32 A). This allows each system to be optimally adapted to individual requirements.

Integrated DC outputs

A new feature is the integration of additional DC outputs – 24 V DC (350 W) and optional 5 V DC (32.5 W) and 12 V DC (54 W). This reduces the need for external power supplies and simplifies cable management in the rack.

Optimised form factor for 63 A models

The 63 A version now uses 4 U instead of 3 U, offering more power, stability and advanced safety features.
