Access-Point-Modus
Im „Access Point“-Modus fungiert das Gerät als zentraler Verbindungspunkt für WLAN-Nutzer. Das ist der häufigste Einsatzbereich eines Access Points.

Bridge-Modi
Der „Bridge“-Modus kann zwei Netzwerke per WLAN miteinander verbinden, wogegen das Gerät im Modus „Bridge mit AP“ gleichzeitig als WLAN-Hub und als Bridge agiert.

Der Repeater-Modus erweitert die WLAN-Abdeckung, sodass keine toten Winkel mehr übrig bleiben.

Im WLAN-Client-Modus kann sich der DAP-2020 mit einem anderen Access Point verbinden.

WISP client router mode allows wireless Internet service subscribers to share an Internet connection with wired computers without the need for an extra router.

Im WISP-Repeater-Modus können WISP-Nutzer ihre Internetverbindung ohne zusätzlichen Router mit Drahtlosgeräten teilen.
