Dank Auto MDI/MDI-X an allen Ports sind keine Crossover-Kabel erforderlich, wenn weitere Switches angeschlossen werden. Die automatische Anpassung an jedem Port reguliert eigenständig die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit, um die Kompatibilität mit dem verbundenen Gerät zu gewährleisten. Mit Filterung ohne Geschwindigkeitsverlust und Store-and-Forward-Übertragung sorgt der DGS-1005P für maximale Netzwerkleistung und minimiert gleichzeitig die Weiterleitung fehlerhafter Netzwerkpakete.
