Der Gigabit PoE PD SFP Glasfaser-Medienkonverter von TRENDnet, Modell TFC-PGSFP, konvertiert 100/1000BASE-T Kupfer-Ethernet zu 1000BASE-SX/LX Glasfaser SFP Medien und umgekehrt. Die Stromversorgung des TFC-PGSFP erfolgt bequem über PoE-Switch oder Injektor, ein Netzteil ist nicht erforderlich. Der Konverter verfügt über einen Gigabit-PoE-Eingang für Strom und Daten sowie einen SFP-Steckplatz, der sowohl Multimode- (SX) als auch Single-Mode (LX) SFP-Module unterstützt. Der SFP-Steckplatz bietet sowohl Fast-Ethernet- als auch Gigabit-SFP-Module und damit weitere Flexibilität bei der Installation.
